How to Transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards to Transfer Partners
Here is an example of how to transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt, which is one of our favorite partner hotel programs.
Step 1:
Login to your Chase account.
Step 2:
After logging into the Chase website you will want to click on rewards on the right hand side.
On the next screen you will click the credit card that you would like to redeem points for if you have more than one credit card in the account. Click that credit card and it will bring you to the Ultimate Rewards site.
Step 3:
Next you will want to select Travel from the top menu to open the drop down list. Click on Transfer points to partners in the drop down list.
Step 4:
This screen will show you all of the transfer partners for Chase. You’ll want to pick the transfer partner you want to utilize. Remember once you transfer points you can NOT transfer them back. It is a one way street. So double check, triple check and make sure that there is availability to book with them through the transfer partner and the exact amount you need.
Click on the transfer partner you are going to transfer too. In this example we will use Hyatt which is our favorite hotel transfer partner.
Step 5:
In the next screen you will want to to click on “transfer points” on the bottom right.
Step 6:
On the next screen you will need to link your Hyatt account number. Once you do this once, it will always be saved in there. Then hit next.
Step 6:
The next screen will ask you how many points you’d like to transfer to your Hyatt account. Remember to double check this number since it can not be done. You will need to transfer points in increments of 1,000. Enter the number and hit next.
Step 7:
On the next screen confirm the amount of points to transfer, hit submit and transfer. Transfers usually how up in your account within a few minutes. Exceptions to this rule are IGH, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, and Singapore Airlines. Those usually take 1-2 days.
